Moderation implementation
What would be nice is a forum that basically implemented Digg's comment moderation system. Thumbs down if you don't like the message, thumbs up if you do. Then, the user declares their threshold in their profile settings.June 27, 2006 8:41 AM

Thanks for the suggestion Podious!
Blogoforum will definitely have some "interestingness" ratings in the future. However I would give it something more smart then simple up/down votes. It was Clay Shirky who warned us on "tyranny of the majority" at http://www.shirky.com/writings/group_enemy.html - interesting read, and Mr. Shirky gives a good example of why it can be not so good.
Here are some of my early thoughts on this - http://blogoforum.com/tag/community+forum+psychology/thoughts-on-online-communities-clay-shirky-a-group-is-its-own-worst-enemy-137.htmlby dkrukovskyJune 27, 2006 9:03 AM

Warning for Anonymous
James,
Thanks for the complaint. I've just uploaded small improvement and added a big red warning for a person who is not signed in.
Next plans? Tune session timeout and work on "remember me" feature.
Note that since I've restarted the server you are logged out again. This is to be changed.by dkrukovskyJune 27, 2006 2:43 PM
