First day is here.
Next morning we wake up with goose voices. Village population - gooses, cows, and a few of village people - looked on travelers with interest. Village people do wake up early.
Well, short breakfast - and we are on a road to Kamianets-Podilskyi, famous for its medieval fortress.
Interesting roof construction there - people used masonry works to create tower spikes.
Take a look at who we spotted right inside the city line.
Kamenets-Podilskyi is a very nice city. Interesting architecture, friendly people. Notable buildings among fortress are Catholic church, bridge thru Smotrych river, and City Tower.
You can get a meal for US$6 - $10.

Interesting ornament pattern on that fortress wall.
Inside the fortress yard, you will see a big hole in the ground with BIG wheel for taking up the water.
Fortress stays on Dnister river which flows from here up to Black Sea near Odessa. Nice hills near Dnister bank.
We met a lot of tourists from near Poland here.
Time to go! Our next stop is Chernivtsi where we plan to set up a camp and stay on a wild park inside the city.
To be continued...
