Thanks for your questions. Keep them coming. I'm here to answer your questions and get you comfortable with talkinghub, and make talkinghub to be the next generation discussion forum.April 5, 2006 7:40 AM
Here is the list of what talkinghub is.
1. talkinghub lets you to organize discussion. You can post a message or a question. You can answer the question or reply to the message.
2. talkinghub lets you to categorize your messages in a new way. No more hardcoded administrator-defined forum categories. Express yourself freely, and talk about things YOU find interesting. Write the message then give it a set of one-word keywords you think are appropriate.
3. talkinghub lets you to categorize other's messages. Found a message with misleading categories? Give it its place. Navigate to the message. Write your reply and give it your own set of keywords. Original message will be shown with your keywords taken into account.
4. talkinghub shows you topics related to topic you are interested. Navigate to http://talkinghub.com/forum/tag/idea and see other topics people talk about when they are talking about "idea".
5. talkinghub takes new approach on discussion threads. talkinghub assumes any message is valuable and can be a subject for discussion. No more offtopic posts. No more long threads with valuable information hidden inside. Organize the discussion around any message you would like to discuss. Topic differs? It is ok, just give your message categories you find appropriate.
6. talkinghub lets you to create your own forum on a topic you find interesting instantly. Just select one-word keyword for your forum, and invite people to talkinghub.com/forum/tag/your-keyword . If you are a website owner you can organize the discussion around your site with no software to install and maintain - you can use your website address as your keyword. If you are not a website owner you can discuss any website anyway using its address as a keyword. For example, find the discussion on talkinghub at http://talkinghub.com/forum/tag/talkinghub .
7. talkinghub.com is anonymous service. I got a lot of requests to make the service personalized, so I will start a new service soon which will meet your requests.
8. talkinghub.com is under heavy development, and you define what it will be. What do you think about ideas presented here? Have a thought on today's forum software? Post your request, and I will make it live.

Hi Jens,
Thanks for your opinion. The need for social software inside corporate intranets is interesting opportunity and I will consider it while thinking about Blogoforum further development.
Meanwhile, we can discuss some aspects or ideas for future social software here.

RE: Public & Corporate Social Software
I'm at a large university, and our listservs are ineffective. The Blogoforuum concept could be a great alternative. However, as Jens said, we would have to have control of our own install. I am curious, have you developed plans for selling the software and support? As far as I can tell, you'd be pioneering the market. Thanks,
Matt
